How do you make an appointment?
Making an appointment with the Physiotherapy4U is simple and easy. Please call our receptionist on 01843 601866,who will be more than happy to answer your questions.
She will take your contact details and concerns and pass them over to the physiotherapist who will call you back personally and will make an appointment that is convenient to you and your family
Out of office hour calls will be directed to the therapists mobile phone for action. Please feel free to leave a message containing your contact details and concerns on the voice mail if the therapist is busy. The therapist will call you back as soon as he/she becomes free to answer you call.

What happens when you visit us?
Your therapist will greet you,introduce themselves and give you an overview of how the appointment is going to unfold.
Subjective Examination:
Subjective examination is where your therapist will listen to your story.
He may ask few questions and your response will help the clinical diagnosis
Objective Examination:
Subjective examination follows the objective examination where your therapist will do a physical examination in full or part of your body appropriate to your problem. For most conditions you will need to remove at least some of your cloths. If you have a neck problem you may need to undress appropriately your upper body clothing & undress lower body clothing appropriately for lower body problems. Adequate removal of clothing for clinical examination helps in arriving at a accurate diagnosis. The clinic will always honour the personal dignity and provide you with shorts or aprons to wear or you could bring your own
You should feel very comfortable during this period. If you would prefer a female or male therapist you need to make it clear when you book in.
After the examination is completed your physio will give you a working diagnosis and the kind of treatment he/she have in mind, with some idea of how long that should go on for.
Once you understand the treatment procedure you will be asked to sign a consent from for treatment and then the treatment can go ahead and you should clearly understand what is being aimed for and why various treatment techniques are being performed.
At the end of the treatment session you will be provided with follow up home advice and a exercise programme which will explain what you should and shouldn't be doing between treatments to help yourself for faster recovery.You will also be provided with a follow up appointment if necessary
Please feel free to talk to your therapist,ask questions regarding your problem. Educating yourselves about the injury, diagnosis, treatment and complications if any are part or the rehabilitaion. All our therapists are very communicative, friendly and always act professionally throughout your appointment
Disability Access:
Our State of art clinic and and its toilet facilities are wheel chair accessible and extra help is always available when you need.
Parking:
Clinic front court is paved and large enough for 3 cars. At least two of them are free for you to drive in and park comfortably. Please be aware of the oncoming traffic when you reverse on to the road in front.
